Wow, what a week! It’s been amazingly hot in the office this week and I had a really hard time working for more than short periods. I think my computer was feeling the heat too. Now that the temperature had dropped below 30 I can get back to the blog!
Heather and Kevin were the first part of our double header weekend last week. Although they were based in Toronto and had done most of their wedding planning long distance, I had met them for their engagement shoot last September.
It was great to see them again and be a part of their day.
I started with the girls at Heather’s parent’s house. Here is a shot of her beautiful dress and shoes….
Heather was radiant and couldn’t stop smiling all day. She looked gorgeous too. This is her Dad David’s expression when she came down the stairs after getting dressed….

The wedding ceremony was at the Good Shepherd Church in Surrey. Bishop Robert came all the Maritimes to perform the ceremony and Heather and Kevin even got a message from the Pope!
Afterwards we went to Crescent Beach for photos. Here are the lovely ladies…
Despite the extreme heat we managed to find a part of the beach which was relatively empty….(would you believe there was another wedding party right behind me?)…

Crescent Beach has all sorts of great places to shoot. We found railway tracks….
An overpass…..I LOVE the light in this one….
Then it was back on the Trolley Bus to head to the reception at Northview Golf and Country Club….
We managed to find a quiet spot for a few more photos at the Golf Course….these two look so good together…..
After the first dance we were treated to a fabulous solo Ukranian dance which was amazing to watch….
I’ll leave you with this one – the lightning storm had the sky an amazing shade of red….

Leanne, you did a tremendous job. We may just have to fly back to Vancouver for you to document the rest of the important moments in our life together.
