I first met Steve and Prab in 2008 when they brought their son Yash in for a session at when he was 6 months old so I was delighted to get a call from Steve booking a family session to include their newest addition Mira, now aged 8 months. As Yash is now two and a half and up and running (literally), we decided to take the shoot outside where he could play. We had a couple of false starts due to weather and car trouble, but yesterday I met them at Trout Lake in East Van to get some shots.

Prab had brought this fabric for Yash’s shoot so we used it again for Mira….
I have a few shots of the whole family, but this one is my personal favourite. I know everyone is looking in a different direction, but their expressions are so full of life and fun – I think it sums up what crazy fun a family shoot can be.
It was really nice to see you guys again and record some moments for your growing family.
