bradley + nobu – vancouver wedding photographer

Sunday was a very awesome day. On Sunday our friends Brad and Nobu got married after 12 years together

Susannah and I were very honoured to be a part of their celebrations and it meant a lot to us to be able to photograph for them. We all met at different points in Japan more than 10 years ago. Since then, our histories, in Japan, New Zealand and Canada have been somewhat woven together. Between us we’ve travelled, immigrated, resettled, and have all adapted to life here in Vancouver. Although these days we don’t see Brad and Nobu often, our shared histories mean we have seen their relationship strengthen and flourish and it was amazing to witness them tie the knot.

Nobu wore his Grandmother’s ring – a very special touch.

Brad had a pendant cut from the same stone.

They held their intimate ceremony and reception at Caya on Davie St.

I love the look Brad’s giving Nobu here. The ceremony was very very moving (we cried!).
