We have been described by some clients (cheers, Sir Philip!) as the Dynamic Duo. We are everywhere, covering everything. We have shot all kinds of events together for over 8 years and so we have rock solid teamwork and ninja-like stealth. Well, not really ninja-like, but you get the idea.

We have a pretty laid back approach. We don’t get stressed out and we are not divas; we’re here to bring a chill vibe to any shoot. We both have a lot of experience in different fast paced, evolving jobs, multi tasking and being adaptable. Because of this we know when to take control and when to go with the flow. You can trust that your photography and videography is in good hands, whatever the situation.

Our studio sessions work in a similar way. Whether your photography session is in our Vancouver studio or at a location of your choice in the Lower Mainland, we create a relaxed, comfortable shooting environment where you can be yourself.

We want to capture the real you, to create artistic portraits of you and your family, images that you will cherish forever.

Welcome to the LS Photography Studio

The LS Photography studio is where we consult with our wedding clients and also where we do our studio shoots. We aim to offer a friendly and welcoming environment – somewhere you can kick off your shoes and relax. The studio is located on Pandora St, just off Commercial. It has great natural light and is well-equipped for just about anything. There is a stereo so feel free to bring some tunes! There is usually plenty of free street parking in front of the building and on the side streets.

Studio Sessions:

We use a variety of sets in the shoot. We’ll move about between the sets to get variety in the images. For maternity and baby sessions please make sure you bring simple plain clothing  - jeans and yoga pants, black and white tops, T-shirts or tanks, sports bras. Partners – you can be part of the shoot, so don’t forget your blacks and whites too. We encourage you to bring anything you’d like to incorporate into your session. For babies or little ones this could be a favourite toy, the touque Grandma knitted or that itty bitty Canuck’s jersey.

Boudoir girls – go shopping! Bring in a variety of lingerie and we’ll take a look when you get here to see what will work best. Don’t forget to accessorise. Earrings, necklaces, shoes and boots all work well. “His” clothes – a shirt, jeans or hockey jersey etc can also work well. Leave the tags on if you like so you can return what you don't use.

Head Shots – we will shoot in the LS Photography studio bu we may also shoot outside. For more information please visit our Head Shot specific site at Head Shots in Vancouver.

Location Sessions:

For outdoor shoots we prefer to shoot at a location of your choice. We feel that the location we shoot in should mean something to you. Express yourself in your environment. For kids and pets, somewhere that they can run around and have fun is a must.

Session Times:

All sessions are approximately one hour. Baby sessions are a little more flexible with time due to feeding and changing breaks so allow an hour and a half.  If you have to change a session time please call us 24 hours in advance.

Our time is valuable to us so please be on time!
