It’s been a busy month for Kate and Josh. Kate graduated from med school, they moved back from Alberta, and they got married!
I got to Kate’s house in time to take pictures of her dress and shoes before she dressed…

After the ceremony, we went down to the river to take some family and bridal party shots. Here are the guys. Little Colton is so cool!

I really loved shooting at the river because it is a place Kate and Josh go to often. I think it’s important to have wedding photos in an environment which has personal meaning. Those photos will bring stronger memories as time goes on.
Kate told me about the yellow flowers here and I thought they were wonderful!
Next we headed out to
Whonnock Lake Center for their reception. We got a few quick shots with the classic limos before they left….
And then had fun on the dock. Here’s a shot of the girls….

As they support different hockey teams, they entered their reception to “Hockey Night in Canada” and then had a face off. Luckily they both won as there were two pucks….
Lots of fun and laughter later, here is a shot from their first dance….
