Aleisha and Jason had come from the Sunshine Coast for their maternity shoot in April and I was looking forward to seeing them again with their little girl, Grace. Here she is…

We first met Freddie, aka The Autumn Portrait when he was performing at the OCW magazine fundraiser on Main Street. You can see photos we took of The Autumn Portrait’s live performance here.
The Autumn Portrait has entered The Peak Performance Project. For those who don’t know, The Peak (100.5 FM) has this cool contest to discover Vancouver’s lesser known talent – kudos to The Peak – there are a lot of ultra cool unsigned artists out there. The top 20 will be announced on May 31st. Here’s hoping The Autumn Portrait will be one of them.

Nicole and Joe had booked in for a maternity shoot for a few weeks ago but little Julia had other ideas, arriving about three weeks early. I got to meet the three of them yesterday. At a couple of weeks old Julia is just a tiny wee thing.

Maria came in for her maternity shoot with hubby Alex. Usually I prefer to photograph people in plainer clothes for maternity but I was totally drawn to the vibrant colours in Maria’s top and had to start the shoot with that…

I met Kim and Oren at the end of January when they came in for a maternity shoot. Little Evan arrived a bit early and so they were able to bring him in for his baby shoot at just 11 days old.

I met Sarah when she was in Jasmine’s bridal party in November 2008. It was great to meet her again when she came in for her maternity shoot on Wednesday. Her baby is due on Monday! Here are a few shots from the session.
Just a quick update – I got an email from Sarah saying her baby was born less than 24 hours after the shoot! WOW! Congrats Sarah and welcome Lyla!
